Being a part of Young Author is greatly appreciated! As you continue to your designated grade level section, you will find writing prompts; they're updated monthly, to give you something new to contemplate twelve times a year. If you would like to send us your response to the monthly prompts, you must be a member of Young Author and give us consent to post it on our website: just remember to include the Young Author Student Spotlight consent form in your email to youngauthor.org@gmail.com. We'll display your work under the "Student Spotlight" subtitle in your grade page. All responses must be school-appropriate, or they will not be publicized.

Here at Young Author, we help students that wish to develop their writing skills or become authors. With that, we have different prompts designed for each individual grade level (from K-12). For preschoolers using Young Author, please visit our Kindergarten page. There are also word searches that will appear in your grade page from time to time. Enjoy!
